I wasn't sure to include a "Trim-Dich-Pfad", since I felt they might be too obscure and wasn't sure if they're even still a thing. But looking it up now, it seems they very well are, and not even something very Germany-specific - heck that English wiki page doesn't even mention Germany.

While we do have the likes of Sesame Street, we do also have our own educational shows. And while "Mickey" is certainly also well known, if you ask anyone about "the Mouse", they probably wouldn't point at that mascot character from the US (Donald is more popular anyway thanks to comics), but the titular* character from the "Sendung mit der Maus" (*to quite the extend, given that the show actually changed its name to that - since everyone called it such anyway), which features animated shorts, songs, but also very much so educational bits, starting already with the iconic intro that summaries that day's topics in German and then repeating it again in another language. There's a lot about how things in the world work or are made, like giving simplified inside looks about what happens inside of machines.
Between all those, there'd be short clips of a big orange mouse with the loudest blink in the world, often accompanied by her little blue elephant friend (and sometimes a mid-sized yellow duck) - often kinda breaking the 4th wall (or whatever it be called in this case) by overcoming a hurdle by pulling off her tail and forming to something useful, extending limbs, pulling something out of an invisible pocket in her body or simply changing the world around them to their needs.
I could probably ramble on about it even more, and I kinda would have liked to somehow include another show I held dear as kid - Löwenzahn, which similarly explained various topics in a more fictionalized approach, by having the curious main character trying to educated himself on the matter - but I feel this is already going on rather long... ^^;
I thought he could get one comeback at least; her behavior deserved some form of punishment surely? :P
(sleeping arrangements cont.)... all, though there's one old idea I've been playing with for ages that I considered finally putting here - but alas, I guess it'll have to wait longer. :P
And well, bit of a tonal shift, I guess...? :P
I don't think you could really see much of the graveyard in the series, so I went with another depiction, at least for the entrance - Pengel's Epilogue/After of Evangelion that also had them take a brief visit there (it did change looks between pages a bit though, so I still went with a bit of a middle ground, I guess).
