Aaaand we're done with chapter 3. I know, I know, it's way too soon again; some of you voiced their interest in Asuka & Shinji's reaction to all of this and I'm a little disappointed myself that it's done only a few pages away from the big "100", but I didn't want to needlessly drag it on. This page is already more of an epilogue, with the "real" chapter end being the previous one.
I can't really tell when chapter 4 will start. I haven't written anything out yet, but I do have some ideas. It will likely be a bit less of a single storyline and cover a couple of things addressed in the T2t epilogue (some that - chronologically - probably already should have happened). And the totally big, huge mystery around Misato will finally be revealed... maybe...
I'll still try and see to incorporate something special for the no. 100 (with 50, I just got lucky), even if it'll be so early in the chapter, but I have an idea.
For now though, I'm sorry if it disappoints you, but I'll have to take my break. And as said, I'm not even sure how long it'll take. Especially since the first half of next year, I'm going to spend a lot time preparing for my final exams, so if it comes to the worst case, it might not even be until after then.
Though, knowing me, I'll won't be studying the whole time anyway and I'll also be able to do most of the preparing at work, so I shouldn't have that much less free time, actually. If I'll start before that time though, the schedule will be much more erratic than for the last chapters.
In the meantime, maybe something else can help you get your Aki-fix at least for a few more days or weeks: An aspiring artist going by RedBahamut (for now) started a little (fan-)fancomic that you can find here: http://www.jimmys-desktop.de/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=12. I already got a few more pages that I'll upload in the next few days with more promised to come. :)
And who knows, maybe there'll be a few more (fan-)fanworks to tide you over *hopeful puppy-eyes*. Remember kids, only you can make the waiting better! ;)
Of course, I won't drop of the earth either (I sure hope >_>), just because I won't be working on AcL for a bit. There's still a certain fic about a certain married couple that should preferably be finished before its tenth anniversary. -_-
I also got a few offers to (re-)pre-read T2t and I might finally take up on them.
