Well, at least it wasn't an entire month this time...?
Maybe also not the most exiting one to have waited on. ^^;
I was actually wondering whether I release this together with the previous or next, but given the time it takes at the moment, well...
On top of it, not too happy with this one on the technical side either. I went quite a bit back and forth between doing the speedlines by hand and trying to use the existing tools for them in CSP. But the latter didn't quite work for me as I wanted to, so the somewhat uneven ones by yours truly it is.
Then there's the tones... Maybe a bit of a making of: I usually do these pages in a much higher resolution/dpi to be able to zoom in more and then shrink the final image. However, something that bothered me lately was when shrunken down, the tones would create artifacts, or whatever you'd call that kind of a grid-like pattern professionally. Given that I never zoomed in *that* much as the resolution would offer, I figured I'd might just do it on a lower/the final resolution from begin with. However, at this resolution, this is the smallest the tone dots seem to get, which still feels a bit too big for my taste, and the whole thing bit me in the butt especially on the smaller stairs panel.
So yeah, might have to experiment more or go back to the old way of working.
