Sorry for being so late again. Really didn't intend to let this become a *monthly* schedule. -_-
My excuse this time, aside from the remaining "Sisters" bonus pages (feel free to check that out, if you haven't already ;) ), is the lack of pre-produced material in general (only have two more pages roughly story-boarded, not even rough sketched, and whether or not we'll be having a break, there's at least 5 more to go until the point I intended as cut-off (and while I have some more by now, including an ending, there's still only ~6 more properly written out. -_- Chap 6 has been making better progress lately...) and this one in particular:
I had quite some trouble to think of something for her to do that would end with her back in her seat, pouting. The first one was pretty much set, and with the third, the idea itself stood, though I wasn't quite sure what the story for the "falling/crashing" could be. The second one was the biggest problem. For the longest time (and still in the script) was her listening to music, then for some reason pulling the headphones out and blasting the plane with music (you can even make out the player in the x-ray page). But aside from portable players not working that way, I never really liked that one.
I even asked around for suggestions, and one thing that came up was her just running around and bothering people. I had considered that before and did reconsider it yet again (after all, it *does* suit an active girl like her to not want to sit still), to the point that I had the now first row moved to the second in the storyboard - but I just couldn't think of anything that would have fitted the format (one thing I considered was her running, noticing the wagon/stewardess and imagining jumping over it, leaving the result to imagination (or her having various stains on her shirt as she humphs), but that felt like it would have needed more room).
Going back a bit, I recalled Fuyutsuki giving her origami lessons, I figured she could have also picked up a simple paper plane either from that or Kindergarten and went with that - which also allowed for the last-minute addition of her having something taken away in the last panel (and don't worry, of course she's getting (ever-changing) Kiko back) - even if it introduces a bit of continuity issue with the papers being there suddenly (but then, we don't know how much time passed between last page and this one ;) ).
Lastly, I regretted a bit that I had that random bearded guy working on a laptop earlier that I felt compelled to use him here. I kinda preferred the storyboard's stick figure giving Aki that look. :P
